Hey y'all!
Fall is a mere few days away and I am loving it! This past weekend, I was struck with an Autumn cold and it was horrible! I don't get sick often (thank you vitamins) but this one actually had me in bed from Friday evening until Sunday late afternoon. I was such a hot mess! Honestly the only reason I even got out of bed Sunday was to get a few last minute birthday items for my sweet P.. which she LOVED!

Also, earlier this week I received my latest Glam Bag and I am IN LOVE! I am so happy with this bag I just could't wait to share it with y'all!

So, here is is... my September Ipsy Glam Bag!

I love this bag! It is so chic, stylish and totally "boss babe". I love the studded texture and slight pop of gold and on the inside a rich navy blue.

First up we have this Luxie Medium Angled Shading brush. I have grown very fond of this brand. The bristles are very soft and don't spill much product. Plus it is pink and rose gold!

Next we have this Jade colored eye pencil from Beauty For Real. This pencil is a 24 hr pencil but I have not tested that out yet. I love the color (swatch below) it is perfect for Fall and it is a rich shade of Jade green.

Next, we have this Lippie Stix from ColourPop. This shade is called Glam Bag and is a matte lip color. This is not an ordinary matte lip color because it is non drying. It has shea butter and vitamin E to keep your lips moisturized. Swatch is below!

Next, we have Elizabeth Mott, POP! Goes the shadow in Gunmetal. I really like this color, especially for a sultry smokey eye. I do however feel like the color is rich but you need to build it to really get that beautiful color. Swatch is below is 4 layers.

Last but not least, we have Manefit Beauty Planner Mask - Mugwort, Astringent + Pore Care and Beauty Planner Mask - Lily, Whitening + Brightening. I haven't tried these masks out but I am soooo excited to try them out! The packaging alone looks so refreshing and relaxing. I will definitely be pulling these out tomorrow night as I get ready to observe the Feast of Trumpets!

Ok, please ignore how veiny my arms are lol. Here are the swatches from the above items. B: ColourPop Lippie Stix. M Jade eyeliner from Beauty For real. T Gunmetal eye shadow from POP! Goes the shadow.

So.. What did you think of my bag this month?! Have you tried any of these brands or products before? Let me know in the comments below!

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday :)

Well this Tuesday is no ordinary Tuesday... it is a special Tuesday because it is my sweet P's BIRTHDAY! That's right my darling step daughter turned 11 years old today! Excuse me while I go cry in a corner..

As you may know, I have started keeping an online birthday Journal thanks to this wonderful idea from 2 Blonde Mamas. You can see my first birthday memory post for Thailand (her bday comes first)  HERE

If you don't really know too much about my family and I, I will give you a quick fill in! My husband and I got married when I was 18 and right before we tied the knot, he had just welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. So at 18 not only did I become a wife, I became a mom too!

Phoenix has always been a part of my life and I could never imagine it without her! She is sweet, helpful, thoughtful and a natural leader. She is so sweet to her younger siblings and always willing to lend a hand, especially with Thailand. She is always encouraging her to keep trying and she pushes her to new levels. She is a wonderful example of what a big sister should be.

So, what does Phoenix think about being 11? Let's take a look!

1. " I like to play on my phone"
2. "Writing is my favorite"
3. "My favorite color is Pink"
4. " My favorite Food is chicken and pizza"
5. " I don't know my favorite book"
6. " My favorite sport is basketball"
7. " My favorite place is anywhere I can get cute clothes"
8. " If I had one wish it would be to have all the money in the world and to have the biggest fam"
9. " I don't know my favorite song"
10.  "My special talent is art"
11. " I think 11 will open more privileges.

Love this smile!

Hey y'all!

Only 26 days until I am relaxing at the lake, no work, no stress, no school no anything but time with my family. I can't tell you just how excited I am!

Every year my family and I take 10 days off and head to a small town or lake for the Feast of Tabernacles and it is literally a blast from start to end!

This year, traveling will be a tad different. The kids are older now so they will need more, want to do more and for no absolute reason, just be louder. Usually when the kids and I are in the car for more than an a hour, they start to get squirmy. So in natural mom fashion I hit up Pinterest for some ideas on easy ways I can keep the kids under control and happy for our 3 hour car ride ( not at all long but ya know... kids).
There are so many amazing pinners out there that have idea after idea after idea and these will definitely come in hand!

So check out these awesome inspirations that  I will be incorporating in the next few weeks!

Hey y'all! so it is officially pumpkin spice season and I am on cloud 9! I had my first PSL of the season a few weeks ago and it was so delicious. But in all honesty, no one makes one like the guys and gals at Starbucks lol.

This post is partly inspired by another bloggers post (sorry I can't remember what blog it was, shame, shame) and my love of Fall and Pumpkin Spiced Lattes :). If you haven't heard, there is a saying that goes around " you can't wear white AFTER Labor Day". Well for one, I love white.. so yea there's that. Two, who says you can't wear what looks good all year round?! And three, Labor day IS NOT THE LAST DAY OF SUMMER! I consider myself the Ambassador of Fall and trust me, as bad as I want September 1st to be the first day of Fall... it's not. So enough of my rant lol.

In this post, I wanted to show you one simple way to rock white AFTER Labor Day :)! PS: Sorry for all the pictures of me holding my PSL lol I seriously couldn't put it down! So enjoy this look ft. my PSL hahaha.

There are so many different ways to rock all white after LD. My favorite just like any other day, is a white cotton T-shirt and denim. Now because it is practically Fall, I couldn't wait to pull out my boots! I almost wore my riding boots but I didn't want to seem EXTRA lol.

I'm honestly amazed at some of the photos my hubby takes of me!

White jeans and various Fall colors like different shades of brown, black and deep reds are perfect contrasting colors with white for Fall. But let's be honest.. ALL colors are great contrasting colors with white lol.

Look how cute my little Starbucks buddy is! Sometimes I think she loves them just as much as I do lol.. Raising my kids right!

Details on my look:
Top- JCPenney
Cardigan- Forever 21+
Jeans- Lee Jeans
Boots- Rampage
Purse- Coach

How do you feel about white after Labor Day? Do you rock it or don't even dare to do it!? Let me know in the comments below!

Hey y'all! It is September and I am loving it! So far I have booked all the things I needed to book for my upcoming trip and I am now starting to count the days until we load up the rental and head out!

Did you catch what I got in my July bag?! If not, check it out HERE!.

Now my August bag was totally amazing! I could not be more pleased with it! I apologize in advance for not having my own photos, I am in the process of packing, re organizing, doing school with the kids and trying to be domesticated lol. So, For now I just have the ones from online, but these are exactly what I received last month!

Last month, Ipsy had 3 bag designs and I received the one that says "Good Vibes Only". This bag is so me and I love the colors! It definitely made up for the one I received last month.

First item up is  theBalm Cosmetics: theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 Eyeshadow in Willkommen. This shadow is very pigmented and definitely something that I will add to my Fall lineup. I also like the fact that it has subtle shimmer to it as well.

Next up we have Marc Anthony True Professional Strictly Curls Curl Envy Perfect Curl Cream. I really liked the smell and lightness of this curl cream. I am very particular when it comes to hair products, especially when I go natural and rock the curls! I will say I was impressed with the cream. The scent was very pleasant, the product was light and did control some frizz. I will say however that I didn't see much of a hold or enhancement to them. I'm not sure if it was because I was only given a trial size amount or not. My hair soaks up product so I would definitely need to try a bigger size of it.

Next we have  Firma Beauty 103 Angled Contour Brush. I love good brushes and this one doesn't fall short. The bristles are very soft and I didn't see any spillage when using it so that is a huge plus for me. I am definitely keeping this in my bag.

Next we have  Hey Honey Come Clean: Propolis & Minerals Facial Scrub. This scrub smells AMAZING! I have crazy sensitive skin so I am always skeptical when trying something new. This scrub has a tropical scent and reminds me of fresh pineapples lol. I did notice that my pores were a lot cleaner and skin looked really refreshed.

And last but not least my new holy grail of makeup! We have the MAKE UP FOR EVER EXCESSIVE LASH Arresting Volume Mascara! Seriously this is definitely in my top 5 mascara! My lashes look amazing! They were super long, curled and jet black! I am definitely getting this for myself!

What products do you like the most? Is there one you would like to try? Let me know in the comments below!
