UNLEAVENED School Lunch Ideas: Day 4
Let's TACO bout Day 4!
I know, that was super corny but I was having a hard time coming up with something to say for this post lol! Between Odd Squad and rowdy kids laughing obsessively, I couldn't really pick a place to start! Sooo, sorry if this post is a little "off" lol... But any way... here is Day 4!
I'm kind of sad that the days have gone by so fast! Friday at sun set will conclude the Last Day of Unleavened Bread..I LOVE God's Holy Days! I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated because of the extra services and also knowing that I am part of his plan! It truly is fulfilling.
This lunch idea was a great one for one of the kiddies (Thai) and not so much for another one (b-boy, he hates beans). But taco salad is one of their favorite meals and mine too. It is so easy to throw together after a long day.
To keep our taco salad on the lighter side, I use ground turkey, light cheese and on occasion plain Greek yogurt as "sour cream". We don't eat to many canned fruits because of the excess sugar, but mandarins are an exception in our house... SO YUMMY!
I think this is probably their favorite lunch for the WEEK!!!
